There are many types of hair conditioners. Which is best for you depends on your hair type and what you want in your hair conditioner.
What is hair conditioner?
The hair conditioner is a product that alters the texture and appearance of hair. It puts a kind of fixer in the hair to prevent hair damage, make it more manageable, look better, and feel softer and so on.
The hair conditioners are generally used after shampooing. There are several types of conditioners, these are the most used:
Conditioner deep conditioners and masks
These conditioners tend to be heavy and thick. Have a high content of agents capable of binding to the hair structure making it look and act healthier and more manageable. Usually left on the hair for a while longer than normal conditioners.
You can use one or more times per week depending on the condition of hair. The more damaged the hair or more exposed to higher heat treatments the frequency of use. To prevent damage are used once every week or every two weeks.
It is recommended for use in color treated or other chemical treatment of the hair. For people who use similar dried and often frequent exposure to sun or pool water or anything that abuse the hair or damaged hair. Generally not recommended for use every day.
Normal or regular conditioners
They have the same function as the above but only require the user to apply it and wash it away after a minute or two. They may even be part of the shampoo.
They come in various types depending on who specialize may be for all types of hair to dry hair specialist, abused or under the desired effect of hair straighteners or curlers or according to the normal structure of hair (straight, curly, fine etc.).
